I'm so confused right now I dont know what to do. I got my ca running but I don't know if its a jdm motor or not is there any kind of way to tell the ecu is def not jdm cuz the pins match for the most part except when it comes to butterfly valves can anyone help even pics of your intake manifold could help thanx in advanced

The difference is at the head. Does yours have 4 ports or 8 ports? Do you have a large, gold colored round think with an arm that attaches to the intake manifold near the back of the head?

I SERIOUSLY doubt you got a EDM motor from an importer. Possible, but unlikely.

ok I looked today it looks like there is 8 ports on the head really couldn't tell but I didn't see a golden arm so I think its jdm also I noticed on my ignitor chip there's a little valve on it with two vacuum lines coming out of it does anybody know what that is once again thanx

Stock boost control solenoid. Pretty much trash.
