I have the Canadian Seatbelts and the JDM B/C pillar pieces. I belive all I need is the JDM/CDM A pillar pieces to do the anti-power seatbelt swap into my 93 S13 correct? Do any drivers who have manuel belts have any pictures so I can see how flush it is with the roof line?

I hate to get off topic, but I noticed you removed the AIV system, what did thay require, and what benefits were there. I ask, because (and yes, I know), I am attempting a supercharged KA. This will be done more easily when the AIV is removed. Plus, anything I can do to clear the engine bay a little is good with me.

you'll need a canadian headliner too. the A pillar trim is wider on the usdm cars to cover the track and stuff, so if you go with the narrower trim there will be a gap.

this is all second hand knowledge so you may want to double check it.

You can also just drill thru the usdm pillar (there's already a hole for the belt thread), and slip the belt up thru between the lower and upper pillar by the belt.

The only thing is there will be that automatic seatbelt gap (which is better than a headliner gap imho).

The AIV is pretty straight forward once you get in and look at it. Basically you just unbolt and unhook everythign and plug appropiate lines/holes. Do a search, someone wrote a very good and detailed article about it a while ago.

To remove the AIV, all I did was as stated above, is take it off, plug up the holes (2 vacuum lines, the hole on the intake box and the hole on the exhaust manifold or the pipe that comes off of it). The car ran way better, gained a little top end, but did lose a little bottom end torque. It is well worth it!

On the headliner portion, I am going to have it redone anyways, because I am getting everything redone in black, so no more ugly gray. Does anyone know where I can get the CDM or JDM A-pillar pieces???
