I don't quite understand, you want to add JDM HID's to....?

Are you really in tokyo?

Sorry for misunderstanding.

Yes I'm in Tokyo, I want to buy some and bring them back to the US for Infiniti Q45 year 97-98. I found some off JDM Cima, but I don't know how they project. From what I know they sold 3 types, the clear headlights with high/low beam separate with halogens, the clear headlights with high/low beam separate with low HID, and the headlights with the black housing with high/low beam separate with low HID.

Just wondering how the projections were on the Japanese ones. From looking at the forums the JDM Halogen ones project slightly higher on the left side....

On the US ones, do the factory HIDs project slightly higher on the right side to light up the signs? Then probably the Japanese HIDs probably do project slightly higher on the left side... but I'm not sure so that is why I'm asking.

In that case I would have to say no. Because Japan and US people drive on differn't side of the road, hence the differn't headlights. Even the mirror glass is differn't.

But can you read Japanese?

If so can you translate this: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh...tlink

I also have the JDM Q45 FSM but the text is to small to read I think.

Yes I read Japanese.

So let me get this correct.

So the JDM HID's will blind drivers coming from the other side if used in the US?

I heard that the HID's usually don't have _/ pojection even in the US....

I am not sure if the JDM HID's project straight flat like __ or \_

the button toward the front of the vehicle says "driving seat lamp" referring to the front seat lights.

the button toward the back of the vehicle says "rear seat lamp" referring to the rear seat lights.

All low beam head lamps have a kick up on the side of the road on which the car is driven to illuminate street signs.

Look at the low beam pattern when parked on the level perpendicularly to to a plain white wall.

Are you sure its like that for vehicles in Japan?

I've lived here for 5 years, and noticed that most of the time vehicle with HIDs beam straight.... the halogens however usually beam the "L" \_ pattern....

It would be helpful if someone actually with JDM HIDs answer this question.

If you live in Japan, you must have them.

Picture is not helpful at all. Camera needs to be centered just in front of car. Wall should be featureless. Distance should be 30 - 45 feet.

I have the stock Japanese headlights in my 94 Q and the kick up is on the left. I adjusted my lights down a little to compensate.
