I am ready to purchase a s13 head light conversion but I want to know more about them 1st. As of right now I hear they come in a queen and king version. The queen has triple projectors and the king has square inner lights and the silvia grill. If I am wrong please enlighten me. Also I want to find a reliable place to get the front end conversion minus the hood and front bumper.

so you already got the hood and front bumper, right? Only way to really get just the fenders is to buy the chargespeed fenders or the like from one of our sponsers, it will look cool too.

Also, the older square lights are all the rage right now, but i have the triple projctors on mine and i think that the triples (queen? i never heard that) look ther best of the 2you are talking about.

here's a pic...

I dont want to get a hood and front bumper because I plan on getting a body kit and carbon fiber hood.

I want it to look alot like this other than I will have different wheels, a carbon fiber hood and a different color.

I think you need the bumper support at least, or some part of the bumper for some body kits...

Not sure but again, its better to be safe and whatever. But yeah get the wide fenders cause thats a sure shot. Alot of dealers do not want to part out their kits like that.

edit: the ones in that pic you put there are the wide fenders with the air outlets on the rear.

am i wrong on this? and if so, why would the lower model car get better headlights?

Actually about the headlights according to my friend in Japan, Kenji, says that Tri-projectors (Zenki) were the first version they were not good cause people complained about not being able to see, then came the Dual projectors. They weren't any good too so Nissan decided to release the final version of the headlights which where the square non projectors (kouki) This was much of an improvment over the projector headlights

*Zenki means early term, early version*Kouki means later term, later versionI forgot what was mid term.

Hopes this help or enlightens someone

chuki means mid term.

its all very logical.

but i was assured that the square non projector lights were from the early s13's. I think one of the moderators said it too me....

i believe the non projector was the original... these came on the CA18 silvia. then later came with the dual following with the triple projector as the last headlight to come on the s13 silvia.... this is probably why the non projector cost more due to the fact they're limited now and as well the hype going on right now for all these new 240sx owner wanting to the do the conversion aftering watching D1:D

500 bucks is a good deal if its a complete conversion.

someone on craigslist has 10 complete coversions for $700 firm, which is a good deal.
