The lights are just different 90-93 and 94.. compare them, especially where they go to the middle of the hood... The 9093 are more of a roundish shape, the 94s are more of a half circle.....

Is the JDM 90-93 lights any different from USDM version? You can easily see the round reflector for the high beam on the JDM zenki lights. Can anyone with JDM 90-93 Q45 verify this?

Thanks.

As far as I remember, I had to tap the wire from corner lamp to the orange part of the marker, and you can swap the original bigger bulb into the JDM socket.

Please post where you odered them, part number, phone number, website.

Did the eyelids come with'em? I kinda like that look- guess I drive near too many seven series.

600 bucks, Green Q needs a Xmaxs gift

Any install problems?

Except for headlights, mods for 90-93 and 94-95 are all the same. (96 being OBDII exempts it from some performance mods.)

Be careful Romeo - there are many 90-93 owners on this site! If you're talking about "bolt on" customization - yes, your choices are limited. But in all reality - your customization is only limited by your imagination.

What was that a pic of?USDM or JDM light?

For JDM lights................The "round" light in the assembly, (on the RH side of your pic), is a driving light, switched on by a separate switch near the cruise control button.

The Low and High beams are in one globe, that is housed in the rectangular part of the light, and run completely separate from the round driving light.

Sorry to threadjack from the archives, but.....

I've searched thoroughly and have yet to find this "fix".

Could someone chime in on this or should I just make a new thread?

Question. Do you have the IMPUL kit?

I love the way that President looks in your sig. I plan to make a President conversion in the summer (God willing that my transmission isn't trash).

Not yet.

The pic in my sig is from the Impul website.

I actually just acquired the parts to convert the Q over to a President.

Now I'm on the hunt for the Impul kit.

Will you post a write up of your progress? The price I got for the hood, trunk, and front fenders for the president was like $3425. Not including shipping from Hawaii.

But i was told it was a simple bolt on replacement. Then I'd have to get lights for the front and rear. Those are expensive. Then the inside would have to be done.

Good luck. I'd love to see it. Are you going to have it in that color? I want to have a black President.

Wow... this thread is still alive? Cool... I've been little busy with my work and etc, couldn't post for awhile.Just added Pioneer AVIC-D2 navigation to the car, and the new radiator is installed (the radiator was pretty expensive but hope it last another 11years from now ).Also the AC takes a while to blow cold air, probably time to get a new compressor? Also just finished bidding on a set of stock JDM headlamps for subtle look. The modded lamp is a bit too avant-garde style I guess. I'll try to take some updated photos later.

To get my AC to blow ice cold, I have to switch it to "windshield" and then back to face. It gets Arctic after that. The vent on the left of the steering wheel kills my knuckles. They're usually quite stiff after a 30 minute drive.

Haitian King, your method really works! Thanks for the good tip!!

By the way Romeo5k, I will be taking off my current headlamp (the modded one) but the new ones haven't arrived to me yet. It should take awhile to ship it from Japan. Also I'm not even sure if I really want to sell it either. How much are you willing to spend on it anyway? If I do sell, the corner lamps will not be included since the new ones doesn't come with it.The first photo is modded lamp and the second one is the stock one I will be getting (Photos are not the actual item, just shown for information purpose).

Thanks!

Glad to help. Would happen to know why this has to be done? I've noticed that hard acceleration (or even moderate acceleration) seems to knock the cold air out and then it blows lukewarm again. It's not that big of a problem, but just an annoyance that I'd be glad to be rid of.

I might be mistaken, but I thought the A/C clutch disengages under hard acceleration.

I'm tinkering, ( No, not *tinkling*), on the computer at my wifes store so I can't check my FSM at the moment.

ill buy for the right price.. im not gonna state on here... but prolly slightly less that what u paid for it. ANd without corners.. arrrgghhhh.. Ill still buy it.. But not for the same price u bought it for, and not for more. But we can work out a reasonable price to not murder you nor me... So the first ones is the ones you are taking off, and the second ones is the ones u are putting in.

You are taking clear off, for a distorted lense.. Do as u feel, but clearness is better. I wanna talk more but not in public.. Pls email me.. i would email you, but u took yours off ur page. My email is [email protected]. email me asap. lets talk. Ill even call u long distance if i have to.!*************** shipping from hawaii to tx aint so bad.. so right now, im just waiting on what you want for it!!

Man, I gave up on my JDM connect for Q's after it seemed to take too long, but now I have a few more possible connections. It seems to be a pain to get these JDM's for the Q, but easy for other cars, maybe thats a good sign for the quality of the G50's.

Yeah. I feel you.

I found a connect but he's in Hawaii. He gets President parts like almost brand new.

I'm trying to do a President conversion by this time next year. (Even if it's just the outside. Then I can concentrate on the interior during the winter.)

LOL, when I was a newbie, I paid Wes $200 for one.

But checking Completed listing on ebay, I see that few sold, and those that did went for $10 - $66.

$65 seems fair if you can find a buyer - might take awhile.
