I believe that the Japanese R35 just needs to have the glass replaced for saftey glass...not sure though. There hasn't been much talk about it.

One of the major differences between the JDM and USDM R35s is the speed limiter.

JDM shuts down at 180KM (112MPH) unless on a GPS recognized track in Japan.

USDM is supposed to be in the neighborhood of 150-ish MPH.
