Hey guys,

I've been on these forums for a while now in the 240 and skyline section but I need a 4 door for a DD and I want something that I don't have to explain to girls why I drive these cars instead of something nicer! ( LA girls!!!, I hate them but they look so good!!) Well I've got my mind made up so I've been doing some research and I've already seem a couple of cars. I decided to go with a 2000 anniversary edition with black interior. thats my only requirements. unfortuneitly I've not found any that I like and don't have to drive cross country for. I've already started buying parts for it like a set of 19' SSR Vienna's. My questions is this; how hard is it to fit the JDM spec bumper on to our USDM spec Y33 Q45? I've searched around and still haven't been able to find this answer. If you could please list the parts that would be great. I just need a quick answer because I have parts ready to ship from Japan and if I can get the parts for the Q45 then I'll have them include it.

thanks guys!!

Not a set in stone answer but I would say you would have to remove the frunt bumper-reinforcement to make it fit properly.

Generally speaking, if one wants a qulaity ownership experience, color, model, and even year are secondary and tertiary considerations. The most important thing is service history. The starting point is the Infiniti dealer service history. The other thing is where you live and what kind of fuel now or in the immediate futre will be available. CA crapagas is not kind to older Nissan fuel injectors.

Thanks for the responses so far. I'm not a Noob when it comes to cars, I understand what is involved with buying and selling cars. Its what I do for a living for the past 10 years.I just basically needed to know if I need to bring the whole bumper, and support core or just the skin would work? Also are there any extra brackets for the fog lights or is the fender linings different? I want everything to look like factory. SO I want to make sure to get every clip & bolt. I bought a JDM lip kit for the car and realized that it was for the JDM spec bumper. SO I figure that i just go buy the JDM spec front and use the kit. That way it's a little more rare here and I love the way the lip kit looks and I got it really cheap. I also have the grill, hood ornament, and badges coming in to complete the look. Some other little goodies too, now all I need is the car. lol My container leaves Japan on Monday I just don't want to bring over extra stuff if I don't have to.
