Has anyone purchased/installed these on their Versa SL? I am particularly interested in how the JDM fogs project the light and whether or not the cutoff is clear. In addition - what is the light color like?

In my jurisdiction - fog lights must turn off when high beams are enabled... (Wouldn't want get in trouble with the inspection authorities here).

High beams don't work well in fog anyway. Harder to see, in fact.

Uh... it has to pass inspection. The inspector will activate the low beams, fog lights; then activate the high beams. The fog lights are supposed to go off.

Only about 120 dollars more expensive.

Well I went to the website and checked these out.

They sound like the regular OEM Fog light kit, there were no pics so I couldnt do a visual comparison.

As far as the color of the light...that would be determined by the type of bulbs you decide to put in them.

The OEM Fog light kit I purchased from versaspeed.com were your standard sylvania halogen bulbs that had a "standard" glow.

But I think they list it as "JDM" because its a nissan part but nothing special about them.

Hope this helps

Uh, no ****? Someone give this man an award!

You're not the only one who knows stuff. All I said is you wouldn't ever need high beams in fog anyway... unless you're one of those retards who turn them on thinking they'll see better.

Take a chill pill Paul.

You started the first reply with a Mr. Obvious answer to a question that wasn't asked. Don't go all no **** on me.

And there is no need to go doh on other posters.

Heheh, you guys shouldn't start to argue.

I believe courtesyparts has the same OEM foglight kit. I plan to buy it there when I get enough money saved up.

Well, Mr. Chalmers, you need to take a chill pill too. When I read your original post it almost sounded like you wish you could have both high and fog on at the same time but are prevented from doing for fear of the authorities. Based on what I've seen on this boards (since many are first time car owners) the obvious, to us, isn't always the case for them. Your response for my first post in this thread was quite combative when what I said was merely pointing out a "rule of the road" fact and not a direct response to your post.

As for the "d'oh" comment regarding sales tax, it wasn't anything against Superskunk. It's relating to the pain all of us California residents face every time we want to buy something. Are we clear?

Have a beer (if you're old enough, certainly don't want to publicly advocate underage drinking). TGIF.
