Hey guys bought a Z that was stolen at one point and a few parts were taken so I am currently in the process of putting it back together but have a few questions on fitment and part interchange.

Igition lock/tumbler: They destroyed the tumbler/ignition lock (where you put the key). My question is does it matter where I get another one from to replace it? ie, non-turbo, automatic, 2+2, etc..? Or will pretty much any 90-96 z ignition lock/tumbler work?

Driveshaft: The car had an original z1 one piece driveshaft so that was taken. Can I use a JDM tt 2 piece driveshaft in it's place or will it have to be a US one?

Shifter linkage: The shifter assembly was taken as well. Are the turbo/non-turbo ones the same? Or different?

Thanks in advance

Lock cylinder: almost positive they are the same from TT to NA. Also pretty sure the 240sx uses the same lock cylinder. If you google "300zx ignition cylinder" there's a small writeup on how to remove the old one.

Driveshaft: JDM and USDM driveshafts should be the same as long as you are using the right one for your car. If you have an automatic then you need a driveshaft from an automatic.

Not sure about the shifter

Lock cylider: so do you think it would matter if I bought an automatic one? Ony thing i really noticed was the auto ones had an extra wire I'm guessing for the shift lock.

Yeah should be fine. As long as the wires you need for yours are there it should work, just tape/cap off the extra wire.
