I recently bought a JDM digital cluster everything works but the tachometer doesn't read correctly...I have a SOHC 12valve...if I swap my motor to a SR20DET will my tachometer read correctly? due to SOHC not compatible with DOHC tachometer signals?

thats the problem, the sohc wont work with a dohc tach, does the speedo read ok
