So, I check in and out of Rbmotoring.com to see what they have in stock because I am a curious cat. Well I came across these rims by the maker of Desmond. I have never heard of them and when searched could only find Desmond Regamaster, but they're not the ones that I was looking at.

As some saw in my previous Poll post, I have decided to repaint my new Hatch Midnight Blue. I think that these Desmond Rims would look sick!! Gold 4 Lug w/ Polished Lip... The offset is cutting it kinda close though: 17x7+32.

What do you think? Only $750!!

I am not stressin' the JDMness. I could care less if something is JDM or not. How much of a spacer do you think would be needed to componsate for the poor(er) offset?

Well if you are happy with 7" wide wheels then I would say 10mm up front and 15-20 in the back.

Lets rephrase.. How much would be needed to have these rims sit flush/fairly flush with the fenders. S13 Hatch. Unless, well, if that is what it will take. I know runnin that large of a spacer, 15-20, wouldn't be all that safe on stock Studs, would you suggest Extended Studs? If so which 50 or 60?

To his their own. I am sure it is because of the offset isnt it? Also Can I buy your Riken Mesh Center Caps if they are 15x7? I only have 2.

well i would run 20mm out back and 15mm up front. dont worry about the extended studs. the spacers should have built in studs in them. project kiks, ichiban, or h&r are the way to go..................

let it also be known that there is nothing wrong with 7" wide rims.................tire compound will make the difference and with a 7" wide rim, he will have more money to spend on a better tire as supposed to if he had to run 245s or 255s

Jookmasta, Thank you for the help. I am going to run and go look at those spacers. I have a question for you. What size tires would sit flush on the edge of the 17x7 Rim. I am thinking of running a lower profile like 45. 2xx/45/17 <--- Fill in the x's,

If I got these I guess I will go with the B&R 15mm/20mm spacers. Now these require the new studs to be "Pressed" Into place. How does one do that or where would I have to go?

D*Star...Oh, thats right. Hmm I got a pair of Riken Mesh comin' to me. They got the caps, but no other pair I can find have Center Caps...

desmond makes regamaster which is the same manufacturer for the spoon sw388 wheels you see on hondas. its 5 spoke usually powder black looking.

pretty light and strong wheels. but that sizing is terrible and i wouldn't do it. its better thans tock of course... but it still doesn't cut it.

Hmmm why must hot rims have poor sizin. I mean my Rikens I am getting are 15x7 but they have a +0 offset (Pair) Now I am either going to get another Pair of Rikens or get Enkei 92's. They're 15x7 +17, better offset for the front I was told...

I have to agree. those wheels are pretty lame.. maybe other companies make the same design, but acually have a decent offset, and seroiusly, why would you buy aftermarket wheels for that much if they're only 7" wide.. what a waste... unless they're some sweet meshies.

225/45/17s would be good. 215s would be nicer, and 205s for the sexy lip look.

Make sure you don't get a tyre with ****ty rim protector.. makes them look ugly imho, and if you love your rims, you won't hit curbs with them.

i run 205s on my 16x8 Watanabes.. love it !

They look really generic. But it is your $$$. RBMotoring always has better stuffs in stock. Ever check http://www.takumiproject.com as well? They have some nice, rare, JDM offerings all the time.
