Its called a SILVIA FRONT TABLE or Silvia Front Tray. They are really pricey. I found one from a company in Europe (of course its made in Japan) for £139.00...thats $288.92. OUCH!! I have wanted one for a long time but not sure if it's worth that price. Here are some pics I found:

It's one of those VIP(vipu) items in Japan. You can ask rhdjapan.com.

i dig, but the problem lies in the fact that you will have to go through what Mickey did in retro fitting the RHD dash tables for a LHD dash.... but i def want one for my whip

I find it weird looking mostly, definatle dosen't belong in a vert. JMO It looks like a pimp would use it to do cocaine on, while driving, with the accesory "cup" holder for his drug kit and 40 of gin&juice

guys,

The passenger side tray is just an accessory to be used for convenience. Being 240's don't have cup holders it works out nice! (its especially nice for holding beer bottles while your working on your car)

Anyhow, the down side is that they are only made in RHD configurations. I had to mod the whole thing to make it work. Worth it in my opinion as it was needed to make people start to understand the autoluxury trend. It is mounted where the glovebox goes and your glovebox door clips to the bottom of it for closure. It looked pretty hokey with the door hanging down so I just removed mine.
