Pretty & shiny, but I don't like the lines going across them.

$450 is not bad.

I paid almost $700 w/ shipping for mine. But, they were brand new.

Actually, the wrong beam pattern is a serious liability.

Funny thing is, when the head lights are in use, no one can tell if the lens is clear or faceted, especially if one is in the vehicle. However, beam kick-up on the wrong side of the road is immediately noticeable by lack of road sign illumination for the driver of the vehicle. Blinded oncoming drivers are especially appreciative of this clever modification, as are tort attorneys, insurance investigators and public prosecutors.

lol.

Troll strikes back. You don't see him trolling people with cat removals..

Same difference

Clear headlights look 1x mil times better, and much more modern.

I didnt think he was trolling. Seemed like a fair warning to me. In my opinion, however, the biggest legal issue is excessively bright headlights.

I dont see the big issue with using the clear lesnes on USDM lights.....? Might be worth a try...

Don't see the issue?

How about every modern car has them, and even a toyota camry with clear lenses looks 1x more modern then a Q45

Deal with it, he was trolling.

He hasn't used the lights himself, and therefor is going off HEARSAY as to their effectiveness

If you are going to TROLL on bright lights then troll on hummers and every other big *** suv with LEGAL lights, that still manage to beam there way right into my eyes at stop lights

Some "somewhat" relative information from the HID site

Quote »Universality:Projectors can be designed to be easily switchable from left drive to right drive beam patterns without loss of light. This usually done by turning the reflector housing in reference to the shield and you get the full 'opposite' beam pattern. UK needs this ability to drive legally on the continental Europe. This is why some cars for the UK market have projectors where the rest of the world do not. With a parabolic reflector, the 'kick up' part of the lens has to be taped up (so you lose the kick up completely). [/quote]

Good links Rex.....

But that doesnt answer the question..... Will Q headlights work with clear lenses??? I remember some posts that said it wont, but am looking to confirm that... With these JDM ones, I doubt they change the housing much...

Worse case, you get some clear lenses and "have" to put in some projectors...

IMHO projectors and a darkened out grille= ultra hotness, maybe add a little meaner eyelash to it.....

Was the Q ever imported/exported to Europe? Sems like those may have been equipped with head lights that support either "kick".
