Alright, so i have searched around but have not found an answer to this. I purchased my car without a front bumper and the wiring harness with the bulb casings for the turn signals did not come with the car. A friend gave me a set of JDM Chuki half amber/ half clear signals to use, but they did not include the harness with them.

I am pretty sure from my reading that the JDM harness is different from the USDM harness (2 bulb housings vs. 1). Does anyone know of somewhere I could get the JDM harness for the bumper lights I have now? Would I even be able to sell them without that harness? Just trying to decide if I should just buy a USDM front harness and lights, or try to hunt down the JDM harness. Thanks for any advice or input you guys may have.

I really have no idea if they are different than the USDM ones but if i were you (keep in mind, i dont know when you want your car on the road) I would just get the USDM one if they arent the same, you need turn signals (tis' the law) and i could see this being a long journey to getting JDM ones. Look in the classified section.

you could probably check http://www.mynismo.com they sell harnesses in the lighting section. For a simple fix, id suggest taking the harness off your stock turnsignals and connecting =it to the jdm corners. Then u could figure out which circiut from your stock harness is for "all the time" when u turn your lights on and which 1 is just for the signals to blink. You could wire the bulbs for the white part of the jdm corners off the "all the time circuit" and the signals in the "blink" circuit.

Im not terribly worried about getting pulled over, but I would for sure want one or the other installed and working. I am not really partial to the US or JDM ones, just thought I would try to use them if I could. I was thinking if the turn signal bulb housings are the same, I could just use a USDM harness. I dont really care if the running light is hooked up or not.

I wont have the car out of storage until mid april, so I have time still. Thanks for the response.

unless on the usdm harness theres only 2 wires and it uses the "all the time circuit" and "blink" on 1 wire. Then u could just plug in the 2 harnesses and only your amber of the jdm corners would light up and blink.

Thanks, I was just browsing on their site. I would try connecting the USDM harness, but I dont have them, since my car was sold without a front bumper. I have the plugs that the harnesses go into, but no harnesses- not USDM or JDM.

I have them on my new car I just bought. I was under there hooking up some HID's and took a look around. There are no conversion harnesses to use the JDM signals. It's wired within the housing itself and works just as it would in a JDM chassis.

just hunt down a USDM chassis harness.

Okay, that helps. here is what I was basing it on:

USDM:

JDM:

I was wondering if the JDM signal used a different harness since it has two bulb sockets as opposed to one. If the signal harness is the same as USDM, i can just get a us harness and use that.

Nope, that is what i was trying to say haha. I have the plug that plugs into those wires (i.e. the chassis harness) but not those wires with bulb sockets. I am guessing they were with the bumper that wasn't with the car when I bought it.

ah... then you have some custom wiring to do then.

you can see in the pic that the two black wires are spliced together so that's a start. lol!

why would they take the light harness completely off? dumb.

He told me the car was in the body shop and someone stole the front bumper- that is all I know, haha. Ill pick up the USDM harnesses and go from there, thanks for the advice.

they both use black for ground and the solid green is for all the time light and the green with yellow is your turn signal. Get a pic of what the usdm harness wiring looks like.

Again, I dont have the USDM harness. I dont have any damn harness that holds the bulbs That is my issue- I was curious to know if the JDM lights needed a special harness or if they use the usdm one, that's all, since I have a set of JDM signals and no USDM signals or harnesses of any kind.

I might either buy a new set of signals from the nismo shop or just order the usdm harnesses from courtesy nissan parts.

i believe i emailed you the pics, lmk if u got them. Two green wires that operate the single orange bulb. One has a grey stripe the other is solid. But this its not an oem part so i wouldnt take the colors for anything except and example.

the jdm and usdm bumper lights use the same harness. the difference is on the usdm the harness plugs straight into the bulb. on the jdm it plugs into a plug that has wires running to both lights.

i dont see the difference between pignose corners and chuki corners? If these were pignose jdm corners the problem would still be the same.
