i THINK jonathonprem was trying to sell a pair a while back and slickroger almost bought em

u cant get black headlights or else light wont reflect! there must be chrome inside. Duckman540i took his 03 qx4 lights apart and painted them a little made a really cool design but the prick never showed us the finished product.

Slickroger tinted his headlights and i think thats the best idea for a blacked out look

He's got the JDM blacked out headlamps/corners; the headlamps do have reflectors but only the reflectors are chrome, the rest of the lamp is black (you can see them on my car in a different thread). I doubt, however, that you will be able to find blacked out corners without any orange in them at all. The DOT requires some orange on the corner lenses to indicate the front of the vehicle (I know, stupid), so I doubt any companies would manufacture and sell them illegally. The clear corners do not have any orange, but they use reflectors and even then you can get a ticket for using clear bulbs instead of orange bulbs.

I think the easiest solution is to modify your current corners. You can simply heat up the corners (either using the baking method or a heat gun) and pull the lens from the assembly. The orange portion of the lens should be a separate piece which you should be able to just pull off of the lens (the orange piece may be glued or something, so be careful).

Another solution would be to purchase clear corners, separate the lens from the blacked out set and the clear set and then just swap them (put the clear lenses on the blacked out assembly).

i may try that on my original factory ones 2 c how it comes out, but i know ive seen em like the headlights, where there is no amber reflector and the inside of the housng looks black, nd where i live ppl dont get hassled about the amber missing nd that stuff, the cops r cool 2 us as long as we dont give em a hardtime.

These are a little closer to fully blacked out, there isn't any orange in the corners...

Nah, nobody makes projectors for the R50. I scoured the web for projectors for a long time and couldn't find anything even close, so I settled on the Anzo blacked out lamps/corners. The only real option to get projectors on an R50 is to retrofit some in the housing. Angel eyes is a whole different story, I doubt you'll be able to retrofit any angle eyes in the headlamp housing and make it look decent. A good source to find some projectors is TheRetroFitSource.com, they have a selection of projectors for retrofitting purposes.

as i thoight, that suks because i really wud like em, there is a nasty set made for the frontier, I was at one time considering custom fitting the fenders from a frontier so i cud buy theses headlights, but for now ill settle for jdm blacked out ones. but here check these out, pretty sikk. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

Yeah, a lot of online retailers actually market those as fitting the Pathfinders. Of course, they don't look anything like the Pathfinder lights (especially since they're one piece) so I did some research and contacted the manufacturer to find out that these retailers were idiots and shouldn't be listing compatibility with R50's.

You could also try the same guy that tinted my tails to tint your headlights/corners. He does it at a pretty reasonable price and his work is quality. The place is called Jon's Tinted Tails (http://www.jonstintedtails.com) and he can tint them in a lot of different shades and even color match them to your factory paint (my tails are body-matched, here are some pics in this thread zerothread?id=451525).

It was easy but I did my own tinting. The hard part is tinting around the corners of the light you may need a heat gun.
