so my question is this before i rip into my rear end . my vlsd (5 bolt) out of a jdm s13 came with cut axles. i really dont want to buy j30 axles if i dont have too. It came with the inner cups attached to it. except malaysian works torched the axles in half anc cut out the sub frame instead of unbolting the diff and then they shipped it.. woah. yeah any ways can i use the jdm inner axle cups on my american 240 axles... so like can i swap the internals of the cups onto the axle shafts of my american 240 so dont have to buy new axles.... sorry to be confusing... pics will be up soon... thanks in advance.... to everyone.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Are the CV joints the same? On the R32 axles I got with my Vlsd the CV joint was different than my stock s14 open diff. As in you could never combine the inner and outer together. Hope that helps.

And Vlsd only sucks for drifting, I'd take a Viscous over Clutch type any day for autocross.
