JDM 180sx lsd in a stock '90 240sx?

I was thinking of getting a lsd with five bolt axles from a JDM 180sx and putting it in my stock '90 240sx hatchback. Will it just go in and work with my old driveline or will I need another driveline also. Will those axles fit my hubs? Oh yeah, will a lsd really improve the performance and handling? I still have the original motor, 245,000 miles and smooth as silk.
