JD Power 2008

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Things like this are always nice to read...

Looks like the EX just won the best entry premium vehicle segment for initial quality in 2008!

I got mine 2 1/2 weeks ago, but unfortunately 4 days after getting it had to leave for a trip to Europe for 2 weeks, just got back last night, and want to go out driving!

i'm not a big believer in JDP awards, but it looks like Infiniti dominated in the categories where they had an entry.

This win suggests two things:

1. Infiniti controls are easier to use than iDrive, etc. (JD Power's IQS includes problems with usability as well as reliability)

2. Infiniti did a great job finding and fixing potential problems before delivering cars; the 2007 G35 had a couple common problems that they missed

Thanks to the help of this forum, TrueDelta will have an initial result for the EX35 in August. Based on the JD Power result, we're also likely to report a low repair rate. But the two surveys ask different questions, so a different result is possible.
