...is only 73 days away!!!!

Who's gonna be there? JAY

This year's event is being held on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

Time: 9AM-3PM

Admission: $10 for adults. Kids 12 and under get in free with paid adult admission

Here's a link to their website http://www.japaneseclassiccarshow.com/

Our Roadster is on the promotional poster this year "Way to go Marilyn!"

They are still registering cars so if you have a classic you want to register, there is info in the link. If you need to transport your car (because who really wants to drive across the desert in 100*+ heat with no A/C) we are getting the transporter again this year so let us know, we have room left for others. :)

We will be taking Marilyn, Bella, Sheila, Alice, the Dime, and Blue (the 620). Peanut's brakes / clutch are shot so she'll be staying at home this year.

Make sure you take plenty of pictures for Cath and I to have a look at during the following week.
(Some video wouldn't hurt either :dblthumb: )

While you're here, would you and Cath like to take a trip to the Canyon? I have Sundays and Mondays off

I think they're going while we're all in Williams for the Datsun Meet.

So do we have an official info thread, like where everyone is staying at and whatnot? I'm going to try and book my flight this week... :)

Wes, if you fly into SNA, I can pick you up provided it's not in the middle of the day. For hotel info, I'd hit Bex up direct.

We will be attending the Williams meet, and probably visiting the Canyon during that weekend. (I think that was the plan... :gotme )

Just got back from DC. I'll get a thread set up, hopefully later today, to figure out the hotel situation. They seem to be a bit more expensive this year for places that aren't in the bad parts of town. :squint:

It's totally plausible Jay Leno would show up to JCCS (or more likely Adam Corolla)!!

For the past ten years, the highs on that date have ranged between 79* and 88*, lows in the 60s. If you need another reason to come out, the Monday after JCCS is my 39th birthday, Katrina's 18th, AND Aaron (Bwana), Andy and Cathy will be there to help us celebrate.

Hmm, 88F isnt -too- bad. I want to take the Saab on a coastal road trip (furthest it's been is north Georgia) but haven't had the chance. The AC doesn't work at all.

I guess I could fix it but I haven't really felt compelled to put AC in a convertible.

Otherwise I might try to score a cheap flight.

You'll want it unless you time your trek over the AZ/CA desert at night. I MIGHT be driving Bella out there so I'm already trying to plan the coolest route possible, Justin Case.

For some reason I thought it was in August last year but apparently it was mid-September.

Flights are so ridiculously cheap right now that I might fly into Long Beach, rent a car, and score a deal on a hotel. Is there a particular place where the NICO crowd is staying?

Then from there I'd fly to Washington to see friends and family, then fly back to St Louis. It would be $750 instead of $3000 (I tend to splurge on food/booze/entertainment when I travel, and Vegas being nearby doesn't help).

Marriott! I might be able to score a family discount from my cousin, a long time employee.
