I did too, holmes. I spent sometime at the NICO tent chatting with Bex, Greg,(who might be one of the coolest guys I have ever met) JB and some of the other guys.

But holy god, what in the hell was that parking?
I think I spend more time in the parking lot then in the show. Small lot, with plenty of spaces and some how it manages to take over an hour to get my car out. I almost ran out of gas, I was gonna fill up on the way home and didn't anticipate so much f**king idling. Worst run event parking I have ever seen in my life.

that was my exact same story. It took me about an hour to exit the parking lot!!
my car was almost out of gas and I was freaking out coz I was stuck in the parking lot with no way out.

yesterday was freakin sweet, hangin out with greg (by far the coolest old guy i know), bex (sexy accent and maker of awesome cookies), jay and everyone. watching netflix off an iphone while waiting for bex to get back with the trailer because the wagon wouldnt start. then dinner afterward. very awesome day, very long, but awesome.

Had a blast with everyone... the wagon caught a case of the ghey on the way out, thanks Aaron, Kenny, Maciej and Keith for the helps. RC, sorry we missed you. Allegedly we were not allowed to hang a banner. However, I gave JCCS a fat sponsorship check, so next year we're setting up banners. All in all, an awesome weekend.

I agree. The event was held in Irvine last year and their parking lot was amazing. The parking was free, no crazy gates to get through. This was the only complaint I had about having the event at the Queen Mary, it was a huge obstacle. We decided that next year, we aren't going to pack up anything until everyone else is gone. To hell with fighting that craziness.

I feel you on that one, it was insane trying to get out of there. The show was kool though. I went along with Josh (Spooled) and David (Razi), we met AZHitman and Nissangirl (Greg and Becky) Kool a** people by the way I only took a few pics cause my stupid camera was being weird.

Thanks for convincing/coercing your wife to come out to the event. She was nice and it was cool to finally put a face with the avatar. Glad you like the accent.

The Friday night before the show, Greg, Christian and I loaded up and headed to CA. We were pulling the wagon and our good friends Donovan and Claire agreed to haul out the 320 for us. it was a VERY long drive, especially considering we didn't start out until after 6PM. We stopped at Carl's Jr for some food and I snapped this in the parking lot




2005 and 1963. the pick up has come a long way.

JCCS was held at the Queen Mary this year. The weather was perfect and the setting was beautiful. Thanks to everyone from NICO who came out to support us and enjoy the show. It was even more amazing this year than last. There were almost 400 cars and I didn't even get to see all of them. Anyway, enough rambling, here are the pics. Alice, our 411. She won 3rd place in the Datsun Wagon Division.


Peanut got a lot of attention. She was the only '63 and the only NL320.


My favorite Roadster at the whole show. Her husband's car won 1st, but I like hers better.


Ultra-rare Toyota. I don't even know what it is called. It won Best in Show.
