THIS - wtf?

What about the z31, which destroyed all that was good in the 240z/280z?

I know where he was going with it, but I still disagree with him. His point was that earlier Zs (pre-ZX) were lightweight, affordable sportscars. The Z32 was a big luxurious GT. I have a fondness for big GTs, so the Z32 has always been one of my favorite Zs. But anyone looking for a "240z" will definitely want to look elsewhere.

Also, any 2+2 Z is fail. And yes, that goes for the G coupe as well. More doors or fewer seats. Choose.

i agree with MOD about the difference in the 240/280z and the Z32. but IMHO the Z lost its heritage with the z33/z34. i know they are "z"s but nothing compared to the OGs

oh and MOD 2+2 FTW . i can fit two sets of golf clubs, 12 inch sub, a skateboard, a case of beer, fire works , and a small suit case no problem in my 2+2 :naughty: . at the same time even though i have a 2+2 i still consider my car a "2" seater. in 5 plus years of owning my z32 only once has someone sit in my back seat. :chuckle: .

but back to the 2014 240z, i dont see why they couldnt make it happen. its 2014 ! just make it happen NISSAN! if i had my way i would combine the exterior lines and looks of the old 240 with the interior of the Z32 ( i.e. simple an functional ) with a turbo 6 and all modern suspension technologies out there!

and nissan lets get back to "shift"! we want 5 speed manuals damn**!

Honestly been thinking about this. If it was well excecuted, this would probably be worth considering buying new. Really hope they go through with this.
