I've been through the Jasper site, very informative, but I could use a seasoned second opinion. How do these remanufactured engines hold up over time? Are they capable of the mileages a factory engine can acheive?

http://www.jasperengines.com/gasengines.html

its a ka24e long block with 20k which I would keep normally aspirated. I'll be swapping it so I can replace whatever peripherals it needs when I have it out of the chassis

well driven, regular oil changes, & was run on 93 octane

also has fairly new: fuel injectors, O2 sensors, alternator, radiator, fuel filter

Only mod is an injen intake and cat back exhaust

any feedback is appreciated

I should have bought my engine form this company. The one my mechanic sourced has turned into an oil burning pile. He WILL take care of it thouhg, even if it means a lawsuit. Hes going to call me back about it this week abotu whats gonna be done abotu this.

OMG they want $4377.64 with exchange for KA24DE

are they out of their mind?

I can buy a newer engine, with less then 20K miles, and have a SHOP rebuild it, blueprint, full balance, ported and Forged Everything and it will cost LESS…

These people are F***ing nuts

any that pays over $4000, not being mean is jsut out of their mind. IF you care anything about fixing up your car or making it go faster. you can buy many engines that are real fast for cheaper than that. KA24DE engine: $500Forged Pistions: $500Forged Rods: $500everything else: 2500WHAT A GREAT ENGINE THAT WOULD BE.
