The one which understanding it can receive, we ask may.

For amusement only, try going to the Yahoo Japan auction site.

http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/.

Type in your search in the box to the left (Q45, Nissan President, Cima, MDM-100, etc. )

Then use Altavista's Babelfish to translate pages. I use the word translate loosely.

Quite a variety of parts, etc. we don't have, plus the translations will have you laughing out loud. Lots of first gen Q's and Presidents with very low km's. Too bad abouut the steering wheel being on the wrong side.

Ha-ha... that's the Toyota Century, the market equivalent of the Nissan President.

Not nearly as stylish, but a lot more common in Tokyo than the President. It's so big it has more of a Rolls/Bentley impression.

Looks like something out of a Godzilla movie alright. Looks like it was designed in the 1960's. Have to hand it too them for hanging on to the 20+ year old president design however. Shows that the Japanese know a good design and aren't as fickle as the American consumer.

LOL!

With the number of Crown Vic interceptors going up in flames after getting rear-ended and the gas tank exploding, we should be wondering why there aren't any states using Q45s for patrol cars.

I've seen a couple... seized drug cars and maybe one that was a test model (and VINless if I remember the story correctly) that Nissan donated to a police department back in 1989 or 1990?

Check out this 1986 Nissan President - looks like a very early 80s design... I'd still love to have it. Comforting to know Nissan had V8 engines before 1989!

Left hand drive, a couple of US headers plus shipping and it would work. I wonder if the Japanese are hip to the chain guide issue?

.....I thought it was LHD??? And it's a 1997 or thereabouts, so the chain guides shouldn't be an issue, right?

Help, my dreams falling apart

The pearl one is LHD, and but I think it's a 90-93 judging by the seat design and front (add-on grill). I used the translator, but it wasn't clear to me what model year it is...

I don't think you could import it anyway...
