Japanese PSP

After my brother took off to Europe with my first PSP, I decided to get another one, but this time I imported one directly from Japan. That way, I was able to get it in Ceramic White without that stupid Darth Vader silk screen on the back. The only catch is that the X and O buttons are backwards when not in a game, and the only movies it will play on UMD are ones from Japan. Other than that, its all good.

You can change the X/O button thing in the system configuration somewhere.

Also, you could hack the PSP and either make it region-free or force it to be a US region device if you want.

Why'd you buy from Japan, though? You can get the white Vader PSP here...

haha I'm so used to playing Japanese games on my modded PSX & PS2 that I prefer the O button as [confirm] and the X button as [cancel].

You mean the title that was supposed to be the PSP's launch day sales smasher FIVE YEARS AGO? No one knows. Sony occasionally responds to inquiries by claiming it's still in the works.

I stopped caring a LONG, LONG time ago. This kind of hyped-up, drug-out vaporware BS pisses me off. It's almost as bad as Duke Nukem Whenever.
