Quote »a prelude is not a slow civic. OK, its got the same hp as a sr20det.[/quote]hmm. the highest rated horsepower prelude made 200hp. The only sr20det to produce less rated horsepower than this is the s13, producing 180 rated. when comparing the s13 (originating in the 80s) to the prelude that was produced into the new millenium, let us not forget the nearly 100 ft/lb of torque the 2469lb s13 has over the 3042lb honda. But, then again, thats comparing 2 cars that are 20 years apart. Why not compare the s13 to the prelude that was its competition when it was current?

3rd generation honda prelude -140 hp with 135 ft/lbs torque. sportiest model offered, mind you. what say we take a look at the base model, it being the vast majority of vehicle sales for the prelude.105 hp with 111 ft/lbs torque. hrm, i think thats the first time ive seen a honda with more torque than horse?

HONDUH POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

riiiiiiiiiight............... Last time i checked it was 205 factory rated crank horsepower for s13 91-98 SR's210 hp for s14 95-98 SR'd and 250 hp for s15 99-02 SR's

but you are right, any SR powered S chassis will whoop up on a Lude....

Affirmative. . NO SR (turbo) ever produced 180 HP.205 was the smallest, in S13 form.

You may be thinking of CA18DET tho. .that was around 170-175, IIRC. .

Oh. . and I got my Japanese plate from eBay. . it'sa REAL plate (I sold it tho haha). . but it's a real plate, with green text on off-white background. . unlike those crappy black bordered ones.

crappy camera = crappy pic.

I put a japanese plate on my car, since I had that fugly plate holder on the front already, and there's no front plate in my state. It fits perfectly. . it's the same reason you'd put a euro plate on a euro car, if you still don't understand that, then don't do it.
