Japanese G35 Coupe

HelloIn case you guys didnt know the G35 coupe is the Skyline coupe in Japan which is cool waht are the spoecs of that car any major differences? and what is the USDM G35 Sedan to them over there? do they even get it?

Yes the G35 coupe and sedan are the Skyline coupe and sedan overseas. There is still seems to be some debate about the R35 Skyline GTR though.

so the G35 sedan is THE skyline?? i dont get it, but is there a GT-R version of the G35 coupe, and how come it isnt the R35 ?

There is no new GTR yet, or an R35. All they did was name it a Skyline, but what is in a name? You can call it whatever you want. The one we all care about does not exist yet. It will only be called the Nissan GTR. 2007

Yeah, there are a couple threads in the general section about what the next GTR will look like. No-one seems to know the answer. It will be awhile before we really get the truth out of Nissan on this issue. There have been some prototypes, but I don't think that we have actually seen what the GTR will look like once it goes to production.

so teh G35 coupe is like teh older skyline GT-S RWD i guess? but the G35 is coming with an AWD system aint it?

The sedan is coming in AWD next year I believe. I'm not sure they have announced when AWD will be available on the coupe, but I assume the foollowing year.

the G35 IS the skyline. There is no current GT-R yet. The coupe is the 350GT, the difference in the sedans is that in the JDM there is a 3.2 and a 2.? engine not a 3.5.

The AWD system coming out will not be available with MT's for awhile, only auto tranny's.
