You may be able to register, but none of the sellers will ship internationally, it's pretty much across the board.

I'm taking a Japanese college class, and the wife is Japanese. We're registered, it was just her parents weren't into toting heavy boxes of shocks etc to be shipped to us. However, I've been practicing my Japanese on there (including typing it) and I think within a few more months I can genuinely get stuff on there. What the plan is, is that instead of them having to take it to be shipped, we'll just have it picked up so they don't really have to do anything except open the door when it arrives, and open the door when the shipper picks it up. I will keep everyone posted when I'm ready to do it.

Oh, there is no eBay in Japan.

You must have missed my post. I didn't mention the payment thing because we've bought much of what's on my car on yahoo japan, and used our US credit card to pay. Just have to ship to my in-laws, then to us.
