My friend went to Japan this summer and got me a bunch of Nissan brochures. I can't read any of it, but I can look at the nice pictures. :D I love how all of the people in the pictures are caucasian. They have a lot of totally different Nissan's than we have here. I'm also not liking the Skyline Sedan and just the style of the new Skyline in general. They also have a lot of new models in Japan. Yes some of them are weirder than he**, but they still have a lot of Nissan's. The Nissan Safari is pretty cool too(SUV).

They have an exhaust where you can push a button to change from silent to sport. They also have cameras in the front and rear bumpers that show up on the LCD in the car. How cool is this shi*, even if I wouldn't want it. Why don't we have cool gadgets like this on USDM cars?

Because Americans are not predominantly gadget freaks like the Japanese so they don't think extraneous gizmos would sell in the states. In a country where people make vehicle purchasing decisions based on the presence of multiple cupholders I would have to agree.

The short people like electronic trickery for it's own sake, it entertains them. My mother-in law has a toilet seat with more buttons on it than Captain Kirk's chair. What do Americans buy, fuzzy seats! On'y in Japan could you buy a Nismo 400R Skyline GT-R with a retractable fender pole.:rolleyes
