Earlier this month, Greg and I headed to Japan attend the Nostalgic 2 Day car show in Yokohama. Since Japan was #1 on Greg's bucket list we decided to make a vacation out of it. Below is the link to pictures of all the cool stuff we saw while we weren't working. Feel free to ask questions about any of the pictures and I'll be happy to give you details. There was no way we could post up all the pics - there were almost 2,000 of them - so we just made an album on the site so you could look at your leisure. There was no way I was taking the time to post a description of each one either. There will be several separate threads so make sure you read them all. The links are specific.

Things you should know about Japan: (specifically Yokohama)
1) It is the cleanest place I have ever been: airport, city streets, the train, restaurants, malls...there was no trash anywhere
2) Most Japanese people don't speak English (common misconception). However, those that do are more than willing to help you and many of them like to practice their English. They are the most gracious people I have ever met.
3) Google Translate worked perfect 100% of the time. Google maps worked about 90% of the time (it can get confused underground)
4) Engrish is hysterical.
5) It's really, really cold in February. Long underwear, multiple layers, a good coat, and warm gloves are a necessity.
6) The food is amazing.
7) There is very little theft. You can leave your bag on a table, go walk around for an hour, come back and it will still be there and all your contents will be in it. Blew me away.
8) The toilets have heated seats and bidets. Greg is currently pondering the logistics of getting one shipped to us. True story.
9) Everyone should go at least once in their life.
10) You'll want to go back the minute you leave.

Again, if you have questions about anything, ask away! :wavey:

The only problem I have found with the "TOTO" auto flush etc. toilets is that the instructions are usually in Japanese and there are no translators in the toilet booth [or hotels sorry to say].

The ones in our hotel / airport had both English and Japanese instructions and pictures. Guess they knew we were coming...haha.

I should schedule a trip with Ray and Wes just to see what next level pooping is like.
