1990 Nissan Q45- 34k KILOMETERS- Auction Grade 3.0

1989 Nissan Q45- 97k Kilometers- Auction Grade 1.0

1990 President Long- 40k Kilometers- Auction Grade "R"

The first car is killer, IMO. The second obviously needs to be fitted with those crazy wide wheels which it had on before it went to auction (and doesn't compare to the first car there!).

Is it just me, or could that *1990* President pass off as a 2002 car? God damn those are awesome VIP Cars.

I've seen them on there before, don't know if they have any on there right now though.

As an aside, these three cars are from a private auction in Japan that a friend of mine buys from.

Agreed, I should...

It might be something I'll do in the next couple years. For now though, the Q is out of action and still in Vegas. I've been driving my old 533i around, but the transmission went... so I figured the car was screaming to me "do a turbo swap!" Driving a 633csi while the conversion is going on... I just love having performance, and a 5 speed. Something which would be hard to lose, going back to a 4 speed auto especially.

They're amazing looking cars and the interiors are P-I-M-P... but they're cruising cars (especially with 19s). They're good at what they do, but it'd be hard to get them running a 12 second quarter for under 3 grand . I'll always love 'em though... and maybe if I follow through with my importing biz and it does alright... it'd make for a killer second car for those days when I care what I look like in a car and don't just want to go fast!

Rex: W-O-W. Nice find!

Too bad they didn't bring the long wheelbase Q/President to the US. We need the legroom more than they do!

I hope next Q45 addresses that problem.

The styling on the President is *timeless.* I don't think it'll look like an old car even in another 5-10 years. I'm a huge fan of the styling, unlike the newer Q's (sorry guys... it's something about the headlights I think). I like the flatter front clip. Might not be as aerodynamic, but IMO it's much better looking and won't age like the current Qs. Just my 0.02.
