Aurally: grumble morphing into growl, becoming a roar as your right foot gets heavier.

Dynamically: ummm, nice, transforming into yippee and thence to holy mother of all that's good and pure, as your right sole hits the floor.

:dblthumb:

Excellent writing.

We shopped our G37X sedan against the A4 and the 3-series. One selling point was the larger size and the more spacious interior in comparison to the other 2. Head room, with the sunroof, is not great, but otherwise I don't agree with his comments about the car be lacking in space...

There's no question the G37 sedan is roomier in the backseat than the 3-series. That was the main differntiator. Not sure about the A4 - I wasn't interested in a VW.

I don't agree with his writing style in general. The first paragraph was painful... I think I gave up after "Yugo" was mentioned :wtf2:

After looking at his picture, he doesn't look much like a driver, but more like a failed surgeon who expresses himself in airy and uncoordinated writing. He isn't always clear, he isn't connecting with the reader with his writing. There are better writers out there. Why he thrashed the compact interior is unusual. What does he think of the smaller 3 series? or the tighter IS350? eh, he seems like a beat writer for a cheesy sports team, but for autos. We all know everything we need to know about the G from bigger and better writers.

Just keep in mind, he is writing for USA Today, not Car and Driver. All in all, I think it is a good article and everybody is over scrutinizing.

He is smart enough to like the car. :yesnod
