Maybe "James" is the name of his car? The Altima recently introduced in the Philippines is exported from the US...

Speaking of the Philippines, I wouldn't mind a few bottles of Red Horse about now.

No hate, just some wry American humor. We welcome members from everywhere, and don't mind if they don't own a Nissan product. Just know that we prefer people be honest and upfront. That being said...

No hate here, I love the Philippines. And if my wife's grandparents hadn't met at Clark AFB, she wouldn't be here.

That said, I do know people who have moved back to the Philippines to either retire or spend half the year. You could have a middle class lifestyle in many places for the cost of a Manhattan garage space and could retire with a housekeeper for $1000 a month... so it is possible you are originally from the US.
