hey, i got a flat about a block from my house, not a complete flat, i hobled home with some air in the tires. when i went to jack the car up to get the tire off, i used the points where the manual and my shop insturctor said to, and where i have been doin it ever since i worked on my car. and when i got to let the car down the jack doesnt want to drop all the way so i look under neath and realize that the ridge where the jack point is has crumpled a little bit around the jack... its like a big crumple too. anyone have any problems like this? ill take some pics to show you, it scared the **** out of me... this isnt my week, first a ticket, then a broken mirror, then a flat, and now this.... what did i do?!?!

oh yea, you got the wrong jacking points, for those jacks that comes with the car (where you gotta spin that knobby thing), you put it with the notches, but for the floor jacks, you put it where the picture shows: on your front cross member, or your differential in the rear, not your stabilizer bar or the jack stand points, it'll crack your frame.

BTW hahaah yea, i bent the bottom part of my fender too, but it's all gravy, just get a pair of pliers and bend it back to place, if it's stubborn, use a heat gun lightly.
