Half of the pedal length on my clutch is freeplay and is acting like the hydraulic line in full of air and the clutch slips a little when i get on it, but my friends and i have bled it several times and i've even had someone who really knows their cars try to fix it but we're still stumped. the master cylinder and slae cylinder are brand new. the clutch is also brand new but probably worn to hell now, and the system doesn't leak at all. Anyone know anything else that could be the problem? I'm bout to take a look at the inside where the clutch is today.

i just went under the dash and it is the pedal assembly. would the spring to push the pedal back go bad after 16 years? cuz i think that may be the problem. the piece connecting the pedal to the master cylinder pushrod is extended as far as it will go and it hasnt helped much. thanks a bunch for the tip tho!
