jacked outer cv joints

rotated the tires and torqued the lugs down 75 psi aand noticed alittle less than 3/4 of an inch of play on my left front tire. so i took off the tire and sure enough my whole brake disc was giving like a little over a half inch of play. so i dont know what to do besiides start to disassemble the outer cv joint.any one have another diagnosis?
