Jackass 240 Drivers....Grrrrrrr.

This is pretty much just a rant but im annoyed as hell.

I know that pretty much evreyone on Nico here is cool and all. But there are just some kids, that think they are the **** with their goddamn turbo 240s.

Ok heres the story. I just got off of work right. I was driving home when this other red zenki s14 with an unpainted bumper that looks like the one from that MVP motorpsorts advertisment that is usually above, turn ands starts following me. Im driving calmly, a pretty much stock car in 100 degree heat and the A/C on, so im lagging a whole lot. The guy goes in the lane next to me and starts passing me up all fast and slowing down and doing it over and over... Im like WTF?

Then im driving like 40 in a school zone (bad, yea i know) and this guy stays behind me, then he just takes off and is going pretty fast. Then he turns and burns his tires (i mean tire, you can just tell he has an open diff) and takes off. I never went more then 40 miles an hour.

What is it that makes people do stupid **** like that? Seriously, it pisses me off. My car looks nowhere close to modified at all. Hell, im rollin on hubcaps. Typically (Drifter TYte) kids i guess. The guy was laughing with his bud the whole time and had DDay stickers and he tagged "Drifters do it sideways" on his rear windshield.

Jeez, im pissed off. Oh yea, the same guy did the same thing like a week ago while i was going to work. He pulled up next to me and kept on tapping his throttle making his BOV go psh, psh, psh. What an ***. You would think that another fellow red zenki owner would have more respect then that. Hell im only 18 and never, ever, do any bull**** like that. I hear those stories of people seeing another 240 on the street or freeways and then waving to eachother or giving one another a thumbs up. I guess in socal evreyone just wants to race. Psh.

i'm 16 and respect others and don't pull **** like that. I just drive normally, and everyone wants to race me, i just don't believe in street racing I'm glad there is other teens with maturity on the road. I have to have it b/c of all the ricers running around here with fart cans trying to race me. I just sit there and laugh as they pass me, hoping they get a ticket for all the swerving and passing and speeding they like to do.

kind of off topic but Everytime i see a 240 i give the thumbs up/ acknowledgement/ wave and well 90% of the time i just get some old lady looking at my like im stupid, There are very few young ppl with 240s here, so its good not to have Jack @sses like that around with 240s although i DO have the honda guys mess with me alot... my car is slow and old why punish it or make it try to do soemthign its not good at

I think most 240 owners on this forum, including myself, have hot rodded their car around at some point or another. But I also know that most of us are wise enough not to race in traffic or drift in places and streets with other cars and people. It's really sad to see stupid people get ahold of them, but I think that is true of almost any car. It's also cool to see other teenagers on here that aren't giving imports a bad rep.

Everytime I see another 240sx I always pop my headlights up and wave, but most people either A. Don't care about what they're driving or B. think they're too badass to wave back.

My brother owns a 1993 Civic Si (bone stock I might add) and wants to race my Nissan. So I told him that we are only going to race at the Tulsa Raceway so we both have a time slip of who beat who. Too bad most kids don't think the same way we all do.

today this kid with a RS exlipse (1995 i beleive) wanted to race my brother in his cougar

my brother said no and the kid made a big deal about it yelling all that "What afraid youll loose b/s" the kid has I/H/E throttlbody plugs and wires yet loads of extra weigth due to a system and partially lined trunk using that stuff that keeps sound in/out(i forget what its called, but it weighs an as load)

anyway 15minutes later i see him with a popped tire....too bad for him

Every encounter I've had with a 240sx has ended well. Be it with a mutual thumbs up or a quick introduction at the next closest gas station, I've never had a problem with 240sx guys. Even on the freeway, if I see a nice one, hell, if I see a beaten one, I'll do what I can to drive up and check it out. I've made a couple good friends that way.

I've never really attacked anyone.I use to chase after them and then just get beside them and stay there.I never jump up in front and slow down and swerve etc. Had a coupel 240's to play with down here.We just acknowledge each other thumbs up and then when we part ways hit the horns/throttle whichever.Everytime someone messes with me I slow down then when they hit their brakes I punch and fly by them and lose them in traffic.

I do that all the time and let me say that I have never had a problem with 240sx's, but it's the honda's that can't take a hint.

I always give fellow 240sx'ers the ol' engine rev and a wave.....Whenever someone tries to race me I play right along until we starrt then I let them go and laugh and wave when I pass them by while they are dealing with 5-0.....I don't mind getting a little "spirited" on the freeways but I will never race anyone on streets....drift in parking lots, spirited driving on highways but never, never get stupid on streets. Just way too many variables that could happen.

When I take my 240 out at night, I usually raise hell which is why its broke right now. Its a play car and a 2nd car. I may take it out 2 times a week when the daily driver is running fine. I like to do burnouts big ones 1st through 3rd power brakes. I am that assclown, what now.
