i've done the search with no results. could some one post or email some pics of how to store the jack properly in the trunk. the po left it in a mess and didnt even leave me the owners manual. thanks for helping a newbie.

Hate to rain on your parade but he has a FGY33 you have a F50 Q45 which is COMPLETLY differn'nt to say the least. The owners manaul or a dealership is your best bet.

Tje location of the jack (and tire wrench) for the F50 (02-06Q) and FGY33 (97-01Q) are the same, on the left side of the trunk. The only difference is in the F50, there is a black styrofoam cover under the mat while for the FGY33 has a wooden cover. Just lift the left side of the trunk mat and then pull out the small styrofoam cover. Make sure the jack is compressed and you can easily slot it in. There is a small slot ofr the tire wrench and adapter.
