Jack points for 06 m45

ok i did a search on this site and saw a few past replies to threads but nothing concrete. does anybody have a solid answer for this? for both front and rear. thanks

There are the pinch welds along the frame, where the factory jack fits, PLUS the two locations as indicated on the service manual page:

My hydraulic jack isn't long enough to get to those jack points so what I do is use the subframe bolts as the jack points then place jack stands a bit further in on the subframe. Have been doing that for a couple of years with no adverse effects.

Agree with you there, unless you have a super slim one, and usually if it is smaller, you've got to pump it up like 50 times...
I use drive up ramps to get the front or back end off the ground and then use my hydraulic jack to lift it up further.
Unless you're LUCKY like Ilyakol, most folks don't have a lift in their garage...

you can use the pinch welds with your standard jack, but usually need the right pinch weld attachment, or have to make one yourself.
Looked into a DIY before I got my ramps, some people had used a hockey puck to make a groove that the pinch weld would sit in.
