does anyone have the length of the one piece drive shaft for the thier Z32 TT Auto (the 2+0, and the 2+2, i need to know which one to get for the J), and how can i hook up a TT drive shaft to N/A LSD (bolt pattern). is it safe to use the N/A drive shaft, and is it the same diameter for the transmission linkWould really appreciate all your help

most likely you're gonna need to have the shaft custom made, put eht yoke in to the trans and back it out about .75", then bolt the u-joint flange to your diff and measure center of the u-joint bore to the center of the u-joint bore, then take these pieces and measurements to a driveshaft shop, depending on what parts you have and what parts you need expect anywhere from $100 to shorten a shaft thats too long up to $400 to make a new one from scratch with new yoke, flange and u-joints

although all i need is to get a new drive shaft connection to the transmission (is it doable by a drive shaft shop?, the drive shaft to transmission connection that i have now has a smaller diameter than the TT transmission output shaft), but since i'm going to remove the exhaust and mufflers to get to the drive shaft, might as well do it once with the good stuff, anyone knows a drive shaft shop in montreal?? i'm also getting the down pipes replaced with an upgraded ones.... any suggestions on the diameter of the pipe (heard that 2.5" is good enough, what i have now is 2", is the 2.5" sufficient for mild engine mods and upgrades?)

i'd really appreciate your help, and merry christmas to everyone at nicoclub

so you're J30 shaft si the right length but the yoke is the wrong size to fit the trans? if this is the case just take your chaft and the propper yoke to the driveshaft shop and tell them you need that yoke put on that shaft if you're lucky the U-joint will be the same size and they'll just slap it in with a new U-joint, they might even be able to sell you a new yoke if you don't have the proper one, if however they use different size u-joints you might end up having to have a new shaft fabbed from scratch depending

as for locating a shop, call any local speed shop and ask them where they get their driveshaft work done

as for the dp's on a stock setup T25's I'd say 2" is more than enough, with the t28's the 2.5 is still verkill
