Some time ago my friend tripped the alarm of my J30T. He paniced, didn't know what to do so he pulled the battery contact. Alarm stopped but the car wouldn't start afterwards. I left the car overnight with the battery unplugged, tried to start it, and it did. However, every time I shut it off I had to unplug/replug the battery connector. Once battery was connected I would hear a continuous clicking underneath the steering wheel, and the car would start. I traced the clicking down to the starter relay. So now, instead of popping the hood I just unplug/replug the starter relay and car starts. It is definitively an improvement over what I was doing before, but by any means is it a permanent solution. Should I replace the starter relay or do I have a bigger problem on my hands? Thanks in advance

Those starter relays are notorious. Not a bad idea rep;lacing for $15. Here is a link, choose any of them, they're all the same: http://www.trademotion.com/par...id=55
