Hello all and thanks in advance.

A little backround. I purchased a 1995 J30t last month from the original owner 110,00 miles. The car looks and runs great it was maintained in terms of fluid changes. The timing belt, water pump, front seal and hoses were changed at 99,000. I just had the transmission flushed and filter changed, replaced the plugs and put in a K&N air cleaner.

My questions

My front right tire is missing a lug do I need to replace the hub or can I get just the bolt and put it in from the rear? If so does anyone have the specs on the bolt.

I have a 1994 J30 service manual is this the same as the 95 J30t?

The heated seats work but the lights in the switches do not. Can the bulbs be replaced?

Thanks again and any other service advise would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Gerard!!! We're glad to have you here!!! The J30 is a great car to have, it sounds like you got a gem!!

The good news is, you can replace just the stud.... Its a very easy job, youll just take the wheel off, the caliper and the rotor, and then pound out

The factory part number is- 40222-15C01- BOLT-HUB and costs $1.22 from Joe. Joe is the parts manager at infiniti of scottsdale, and his parts are 20% below list. For something this cheap, id recommend you go to your local nissan/infiniti dealer... This is the same stud used on many nissans, so it should be the same... Joe requires $5 shipping charge, so you might as well go to your nissan dealer, it wont be more than $2!

The bulbs i think can be replaced, theres a thread about this in the Q45 forum, you might check it out..... You can oftne find the replacement bulbs at radio shack.

Again, welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay!

I don't think you can replace the bulb itself. Its some special Nissan spec size thats embedded into the button. Its like the drivers door power lock switch (both the heater and power lock switches use the same bulb). Each individual door switch lights up at night. You can't replace any individual bulb should it burn out, According to the local dealer and Joe(I called him to confirm) Nissan does not sell the bulb. To satisfy my curiousity I checked out the local electronic stores; I was never able to find a replacement bulb.

The seat heater switch is basically the same thing, its a plug and play device. It took me seconds to change out. I replaced one of my seat heater switches probably 4 years ago. I think a new switch costs $35 Canadian.

The '94 manual is the same as the '95. Just ignore anything in the '94 manual that has to do with HICAS. HICAS was only available in the '93 and '94 "t" models. The '95 "t" model only had a different suspension set up and a spoiler to distinguish it from a regular J.

Dont worry about it until you have to replace your brake pads...
