check contacts, always start with the simplist possiblilities, that way you will avoid spending unneeded money, remove the lights and clean the plugs with a contact cleaner "found in most hardware stores" , also check the fuses, if that doesnt work, get s pair of new bulbs, make sure the bulbs are 55W "i installed 80W bulbs once, it partially melted my wiring". i hope this helps

The problem with the realay is internal, so expect to have the same problems unless you buy a new one, or resolder the old one.

Could be your DRL relay or the normal headlight relay. Do your DRL's work?

DRL stands for Daytime Running Lights. All Canadian vehicles must have them due to federal transport safety law. The law has been in effect since 1990. The DRL module is a small white box, that is located on the driver side of the engine bay around the top of the left wheel well (and sometimes just behind it).

Tap it with the handle end of your screw driver. If your lights either come on or go out that is your culprit.
