Well I put my front drivers window down yesterday and when it got to the bottom it kept making the noise like it was still going down. Anyway...i tried to put it up but it wouldnt go anywhere.

The window had never gotten stuck or hadnt been binding before this. I had to push the window up from the bottom while holding the power window button.

Question is: does this sound like the motor or regulator that is broken? I looked inside and didnt see the motor turning but im not sure if the regulator has something to do with this. I also read Carlos's DIY thing but im still wondering if its motor or regulator.

Sounds like the regulator. Rarely hear of the motors going bad and you said it sounded like the motor was still working.

Thinking about it again, the regulator could have broken off or stripped the gear teeth on the motor. It looks like you'll have to do some exploratory work.

Sound like the window regulator. I had a similar problem in the Q.

$120.00 from any dealership, or $75.00 from Joe @ INFINITIPARTSUSA.com - You decide.

It takes about 1.5 hours from start to finish.

Do a search on window regulator, and you will find some instructions I did, and some pics from another NICO brother.

That sounds like it's definitely the regulator. When the motor goes bad, the window will be damn near impossible to move with your hand.

The fact that pusshing the window button helps tells me the motor is doing it's thing but the regulator is binding.

Get the regulator and you'll be good to go.
