is it safe to have no slack between the driveshaft and the transmission after a j30 swap to a s13? there should be at least i some so when the car go over bumps, it wouldn't jam on to the transmission.

I have one in mine too with a RB20. Seems ok not sure if it's hurting anything yet I hope lol or I'll be buying another RB20 transmission.

Yo... I got a j30 vLSD in the rear end of my 89 fastback, have had it for months, live on ****ty roads in northern california, and I haven't had any problems at all. 240sx driveline is rock solid bro. You could throw that rear end down sixteen flights of concrete stairs, drop it in your s13, and it'd be fine. Don't worry =) Your transmission is even MORE bulletproof - providing that you keep it full of fluid.
