I know this is another topic thats been beaten to death but I just want to get some direct answer.

I'm going to go buy a Vlsd tomorrow off of an Infiniti J30 year is 1995 so I know that it works. What would I need to get excatly? I'm getting it in a junk yard.... Do I tell them that I need the rear differential off of an 1995 J30? and is that all I would need? Or what would be the proper way to tell them so that I dont miss any parts. Thanks in advance

Just tell the guy you want the LSD out of a '95 J30. Everything is the same, except I think the J30 differential has a housing for the ABS sensor on the snout that makes it almost an inch longer, but you should be able to make it fit. The J30's have a 3.916 ratio, a couple percent taller than the open differential you are taking out, but this shouldn't feel any different.

jusk make sure you get the stub axels(output flanges). Also make sure you get the 2 diff bolts. If you can get the axels at no charge pick them up for the hell of it.
