J30 VLSD Question

I have a 95 240sx with no ABS. I want to get the J30 VLSD and I've heard nothing but good things about it. Also, it's a drop in. But since I haven't look under my car, like if I could, I would (check my sign for the reason). So, does 95 240sx have 5 or 6 bolt pattern? If my car is no ABS, can I get ABS Equiped J30 VLSD and bolt on to my car? And the price for the VLSD J30 Unit? around 2 bills sounds right?

Still has yet answered my 5 or 6 bolt pattern question...I just want to be on the safe side because the seller sometimes doesn't know much and I don't want to buy a wrong one.

yes it does... go about 1/3 of the way down in a post I made... the pics do not comeup but I did state how many bolts there are per axle...

There are 4 bolts holding the Drive Shaft to the diff. 2 bolts on the front bottom of the diff holding it up the the frame of the car. 2 bolts on the rear of the diff holding it steady. And finally 6 bolts on each axles...finally 6 bolts

So 6 bolts on each axle? Or you meant 6 bolts on the axles, 3 on each side? Is this the quote? Cause the one I was gonna buy has 5 bolt pattern, and he claimed it's from a 95 J30...WTF?

He means 6 bolts on each side. You want the six bolt flanges so they can bolt up to your axels, unless you find 5 bolt axels.

So 95 J30s Do come in 5 and 6 bolts pattern? What is my 240 bolt pattern? I'm guessing 6 right?

Just get the diff from a 1994 and up j30. It will match, and dont worry about it. Confusing it is? yes.

BTW s13's have 4 bolts on the cover, you have to swap covers, dont know if its the same for s14's.

Only old s13's had 5 bolt pattern.

yea, i'm trying. But the one i'm getting right now claimed to be 5 bolts pattern. If my car is 6, i have to deal with something else rather than just a drop in like black240...so I HAVE to make sure

you do have 6 bolt, as i said only the old s13's (89's) have 5 bolt. You should keep looking for a 1994- up rather than settling for some guy who is obvously confused about the year of his cars.

To repeat, only J30's from 1994, 1995, 1996 etc. have the 6 bolt pattern. If they have 5 then either the salesperson is lying, or you have a pre- 94 lsd.

I see, that's what this post is about. I'm trying to see if the seller is lying. It's on ebay, but he included the anxles. I don't wanna pay for it and have to get a different housing for it, sounds like too much work for me. I don't know if I have 5 or 6 because i'm oversea right now, that's why I asked. Dude do what i did go to Car-parts.com look for a 95 J30 carrer i think its called not a rear diff find the one closest to you call then see if its the right one have them ship it to you i got mine for 190 shipped to my door

Also look a on the last few pages the prices get lower and mine had 85k on it
