i've searched quite a bit, a few topics have touched on this, but never completely answered my question... I have a j30 VLSD, with 5-star bolt flanges.... now my s13 coupe, has the six bolt (3 sets of 2) flanges. .. are the j30 axles swapable into my rear end, or do i need to swap the VLSD flanges for the ones compatable with my axles....

if any can help me out here it is much appreciated....

i search alot, and i do alot of work, i'm not looking for an "easy" route, just an answer.

You need a set of J30 axles and you can install your VLSD into your S13.

Simple as pie!

does anyone know the size wrenches and sockets i'd need to remove the axles from a j30? i plan on going to the junkyard and doing it myself, but i dont know what sizes i'd need. Also, to remove the differential are the bolts different size than the axles? Thank you.
