I was replacing my turn signal bulbs today with a 1156 LED style, and it doesnt seem to work at all. I was reading that the 1156 was a dual filement type bulb. As far as I know the turn signal is either on or off. Did I get the wrong bulb type here? I got the type off of the Sylvania Car Application Guide. So fill me in here.

Thanks, -Robert Cole 1993 J30 Birmingham, AL

it was just a general comment, to eliminate any confusion.

1156 is the right bulb for the J30 turn signal, with or without the amber.

1157 are the dual filament bulbs, as for stop lights etc.
