j30 transmission

Has any one tried the transmission flush? The one where the car gets hooked up to the machine and the old fluid gets completely pumped out and new put in. Mines got 197k and was thinking of having it done, but don't know if it works.

I've always had my transmission fluid changed out that way every 2 or 3 years depending on how much I drive it per year.

My J's 15 years old and the transmission still shifts smoothly.

my thoughts exactly go for it,thats the only way mines get done. (especially if your pan is not leaking

This car was bought new bt a dr. so I have all the maintenance records but don't see that being done any time.

No leaks! except for somewhere in the ac,
