J30 transmission compatible with a Z32?

ok, just curious, my stupid brother has killed his auto transmission, he apparently doesn't know nuetral drops are bad...

will the J30 transmission swap sans problems?

I'm asking this because well, it widens the search for a transmission.

The RE4R01A is used in both 90-96 300zx non turbo automatic and J30......different diff ratios and speed sensor gears and tcu....not sure if the TC are identical but should be close as not much weight difference [some].
